We traveled to Washington D.C. to film the leadership of the Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty. The videos were produced to help spread the word and garner support for the good things that the organization does. Here is a sample video from the series.

Our Work

baptiststandard"The Brainstorm Lab has done a tremendous job in developing our new website and helping us continually improve it. We're thrilled with the work they've done.

Here are the best parts:

1. They're smart. Maybe that doesn't stand out to you, because lots of IT folks are smart. But it gets better. ...
2. They listen. Instead of fake-listening and then doing whatever they want with a site, they actually listen and give clients what they want. And better still ...
3. They speak plain English. This will be a shock to most people who have hired IT consulting, but these guys actually explain what they intend to do and how it will work in words non-techies can understand. What a relief. What a pleasure."

lightbulbconeIdea People

We're idea people ("brainstorm lab... get it?"), and that means ideas tend to pop up while we work on projects. Sometimes it's a new or better way to do something, sometimes it's a new feature that will help reach more people, and sometimes it's an idea for how you can make more money. So if you work with The Brainstorm Lab, don't be surprised if we start tossing additional ideas your way.

Social Networking

There's a lot of buzz about social networking (Facebook, Twitter, etc) these days, and it's true that a lot of companies and organizations are using the services to connect with their audience. We understand how social networking works, and can help you develop a sound strategy for building a presence there.

Media Forms

The best communications approaches use a wise mixture of tools to share a message. Because we can develop websites, produce video, design printed materials and packaging, write content and do photography, we can help you create a message that uses the best tools to get your message to the right people.

Innovation on Display
Written by Bert Christoppher
lightbulb3We are constantly looking for the latest and greatest, whether it be tech devices and gadgets (droid and iphone), methodology and workflow standards (open source matters) or just a better lunch (ron & cheng's). It's always refreshing to see the indominable human spirit continuing to persevere - no matter the current climate.

Today, Time magazine released it's annual picks of the best new gadgets and breakthrough ideas of the year, an eccentric collection of the year's most inspiring ideas and innovations.

Some of our favorites include an "LED lightbulb that emits the same amount of light as its incandescent equivalent but uses less than 10 watts and lasts for 25,000 hours — or 25 times as long.

An MIT developed electric eye that"could help blind people regain partial eyesight", and the Nissan Leaf, the first fully electric vehicle built for mass production for the global market, with a top speed of over 90mph, and a 100 mile range on a single charge.  See the complete list here.

Innovation isn't always positive - you'll also find the 5 worst inventions of 2009, and in our opinion the winner (or loser) has to be Snuggie for dogs.
