iPhone App + Website

In partnership with NewTown Macon and AT&T, we are developing an innovative iPhone application and website that will serve as an educational tool for teachers, parents, tourists, and the like who visit the Water Works park here in Macon, Georgia or at the website (TBD). While in the park, the app will use geo-location (kind of like the gps in your car) to automatically deliver information relevant to the various historical, sociological, scientific, and fun facts of the park, including info on the formation of the river bed to the Indian artifacts and monuments. Thanks to AT&T, iPhones will be available for checkout at the Water Works Park, making this technology accessible to everyone. Local educators are populating a database that will house the information on the park, and can be accessed by anyone from the new website. This is very exciting, but we must give you a word of caution: Be careful because you never know what you are standing next to!

Idea People

We're idea people ("brainstorm lab... get it?"), and that means ideas tend to pop up while we work on projects. Sometimes it's a new or better way to do something, sometimes it's a new feature that will help reach more people, and sometimes it's an idea for how you can make more money.
