Unique Church Websites

It's Not Just a Website.

It's Your Church's Public Face.

ravensworth2The role of the Internet in people’s lives has changed dramatically over the past few years. People have come to expect quick and easy access to information and speedy forms of communication.

Your church’s website is more than a brochure for visitors, but is also a place where members go to learn how to participate in ministries.

The Brainstorm Lab can develop a web presence for your church that not only showcases the uniqueness of your congregation and its ministries, but is also easy to keep updated with the latest information.

While most churches now have some form of website, few keep their sites updated with the latest information. Why? Depending on how the site was created, it may be complicated to update, or perhaps only one person is designated to make all updates.

Sites developed by The Brainstorm Lab use a “Content Management System” (CMS). This approach allows the content of the site to be as easy to update as working with a Word document. It also offers each staff member their own login, so they can keep their specific ministry information updated.

The Brainstorm Lab also helps churches deal with modern online realities.  Most church sites we develop have a public area that provides the kinds of information visitors need, as well as a private member’s area for accessing photos, prayer list information, and other more detailed church information. Why? Because churches want to respect the privacy and safety issues that arise when posting photos of children, or health-related information (sick/injury prayer lists) online. Having public and private areas allows your church to share information wisely and sensitively.

We Create Unique Church Websites.

Because Every Church is Unique.

The Brainstorm lab develops church websites that are as unique as the churches they represent. One of the ways we do this is through photography. View a few samples here .

Our photographers work to capture the beauty and personality of your church, and then use those photos in the site design. The result is a site that helps guests better sense the quality of your church’s ministries, worship and fellowship.

The Brainstorm Lab is, in fact, a very unique design firm. Our leadership staff bring an uncommon blend of ministry experience and strong technical expertise. David Cassady spent 16 years as an executive with religious publisher Smyth & Helwys Publishing, and holds a Ph.D. in Christian Education. Mark Strozier brings nearly two decades of experience in web development and professional photography.

Site features often include easy to update calendars, photo galleries, Wednesday dinner reservation systems, and more.

From Marv Knox, editor, Baptist Standard :

"The Brainstorm Lab has done a tremendous job in developing our new website and helping us continually improve it. We're thrilled with the work they've done.
Here are the best parts:
1. They're smart. Maybe that doesn't stand out to you, because lots of IT folks are smart. But it gets better...
2. They listen. Instead of fake-listening and then doing whatever they want with a site, they actually listen and give clients what they want. And better still...
3. They speak plain English. This will be a shock to most people who have hired IT consulting, but these guys actually explain what they intend to do and how it will work in words non-techies can understand. What a relief. What a pleasure."
